The Conjure and Craft of the Skull with Orion Foxwood

There are few images more linked to the practice of magic and witchcraft than the use of all types of bone-skulls and skull-images. The very sight of a skull often inspires deep, primal, foreboding, strangely delighting and perhaps even forbidden feelings. Why does a "dead-bone" have so much life in our spirit? Perhaps, it is because of its ancient grip on our magical practice. Perhaps its is because the head is often seen as the house of the spirit. A huge part of our spirit-doctoring work is about clearing and claiming our own head.

The skull is a powerful tool for ancestral contact, oracular reading, personal headwork and confusion-conjure and it does NOT have to be loaded with power. It already has it! And, it does NOT have to be a bone-skull to pull on the lineage of power in it. Join Orion as he shares lore about the talking skulls, skull-candle work, loading skulls, using stone/ crystal heads, animal skull work, the skull and crossbones, the warding head and many practices. Come ready to clear, claim and crown your own head for success!   See the whole schedule

What Past Attendees Have Said

  • I attended the first 2 Folk Magic Festivals. It is hard to put into words the full experience. The topics have ranged from cleansings, how to work with Black Hawk, The Bible in Conjure, Prosperity work, Love and Romance, Doll making...I can go on and on. The workshops are a mix of lecture and hands on experiences. Each of them also vend their wares and are happy to find time to chat with you about what they make and do. No where will you have a better opportunity to learn from these real and caring conjurers face-to-face and heart-to-heart. What I like most is they provide a lovely mix of backgrounds and knowledge from different perspectives. imageOrianna
